Unexpectely, the Jurassic World trailer that was due to be released on Thanksgiving Thursday, has suddenly been released, as tweeted by director Colin Trevorrow and producer Frank Marshall! Watch it 100 times below!
The last words anyone wants to hear before they visit a theme park populated by dinosaurs is: "If something chases you: Run!" It's a statement that promises all sorts of prehistoric mayhem, and the first trailer for Jurassic World delivers just that in full.
Amongst the numerous monsters teased in the clip are a humongous crocodile-like creature that devours a shark, a horde of bipeds frolicking through an open field and a clan of raptors that converge alongside Chris Pratt as he speeds through the jungle on a motorcycle. Jurassic World also features a "genetically modified hybrid" creature that's apparently as smart as it is bloodthirsty. As Pratt dryly puts it: "You just went and made a new dinosaur? Probably not a good idea."
GOOD DINO vs. BAD DINO:
Did you notice that scene at the end of the trailer when the raptors barge out of their pens and run alongside Chris Pratt on a motorcycle? Well, they didn’t barge out, they were simultaneously released. And they weren’t running to attack or eat Chris Pratt, they were running with Chris Pratt. Notice how Pratt is completely unphased by the meat-eating predators with two of them even running along ahead of him, passing him right by.
In recent months rumors have pointed to the idea that Chris Pratt’s role will be a dinosaur trainer and that we would be seeing some dinosaurs be the “good guys” in this movie. Some reports mentioned that there would be trained velociraptors and maybe even a trained T-Rex. With Jurassic World adding this scene at the very end of the trailer, there has to be some importance to it and we think that’s exactly what this is.
There will be lots of Dino on Dino fighting, as some of the Dinos are "good guys" that are trained by Chris Pratt's character. The raptors and T-Rex are among the "trained" good dinosaurs. The big bad dinosaur has instant camouflage abilities, like the cuttlefish, so he blends into the background, is smart like the velociraptor, uses his jaw like a snake, and can terrorize like the T-Rex. Does this mean the new dino will be the ONLY "bad" one? Or will there be more than one? Unconfirmed, but it will be the catalyst that kicks off the peril.
YOUR WORST NIGHTMARE:
Every Jurassic Park movie has had at least one major dinosaur predator. In Jurassic Park it was the T-Rex (which, spoiler alert, ended up being the hero at the end). In The Lost World it was not one, but two tyrannosauruses. And in Jurassic Park 3, it was the spinosaurus, which was the bigger, meatier version of the T-Rex.
In Jurassic World, the main predator is a genetic hybrid (hasn’t this universe learned to stop tampering with genetics yet!?), which was rumored and then confirmed in this trailer. But, the Jurassic Park series may be taking genetic manipulation to a whole new level. Did you catch the claws on the hybrid dinosaur when Chris Pratt’s character was running? It has huge velociraptor-style claws, and giant T-Rex feet.

These scenes appearing in the trailer aren’t just coincidences. They are meant to remind fans from this decades-old franchise that though this movie is 10 years removed from the last one, there’s still a lot of reason to be excited – beginning with nostalgia.
This is also being played up in other ways too, with the official Facebook page making references to moments from the previous movies as well:
