Now, sure, the first trailer for Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens is now not so much on its way as it is tantalizingly nearly, almost here. After all, for those lucky enough to live near to one of 100 select theaters in North America, it'll be screening from this Friday - and if not, it looks set to arrive on Monday, or thereabouts.

That, though, is still just too darned long a wait for some of us - myself very much included - so I've been studiously searching for something to keep me going in the meantime.

My current favorite? Awesome fan-made versions of the trailer.

Like, for instance...

This Moody, Epic Version

As uploaded to Youtube by =88">Romeo Lux - and featuring...

Awesome Type Faces!

The fonts are strong with this one...

An Intense Intro!

With suitably blue foreshadowing...

Two Suns!

Because Tatooine!

Boba Fett!

Because Boba Fett!

And, of course...

The Millennium Falcon!

Because YES.

You can check it out in full below....

There's also, though...

This More Action-Packed Offering

Posted by =15">Austen Saltz - and including some key Star Wars-ian elements like...

Han Freakin' Solo!

Or, at least, Harrison Ford in Ender's Game...

Lightsaber Battles!

Because the battle between good and evil can only ever be solved by a fight involving laser swords...

And, of course...

More Geopolitics Than You Can Shake a Stick At!

George Lucas would be proud...

Again, you can check it out in full below...

The big question, though: What do you guys think?
