Let's get ready to rumble!!! Captain America Civil War going head to head with Batman v Superman Dawn of Justice is as anticipated as Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather, Jr. But like Pacquiao and Mayweather this potential epic battle may never happen.
Batman v Superman Dawn of Justice is slated to be released March 26, 2016 and is very close to wrapping up filming. Captain America Civil War is slated to be released May 6, 2016 and have yet to start filming. It's bizarre that Batman v Superman Dawn of Justice is almost finished filming but Captain America Civil War has not even started filming even thought it has a release date 5 weeks after [Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice](movie:711870) is released. For a big-scale big budget movie like Civil War it certainly does not seem that Marvel/Disney will have enough time to meet the May 6, 2016 release date. If they cannot we certainly will not get that cinematic comic book epic fight that we were all looking for.
Like Manny and Floyd there will certainly be some conspiracy theories on why this epic battle will not happen. Some will claim that Marvel is trying to avoid going up against the highly anticipated Batman vs Superman movie. Or maybe Marvel wants to get a good look at the competition before potentially releasing an inferior product. What are your thoughts on how this will play out? Did Marvel ever intend to make the May 6 release date? Was [Captain America: Civil War](movie:994409) a knee jerk reaction to the overwhelming positive feedback of Dawn of Justice?
