Anyone who's played GoldenEye 007 will know the laser watch is both simultaneously the coolest gadget, and the lamest weapon.
But despite its lack of lethality, it has perhaps the one gadget that is now become synonymous with MI6's James Bond - even if Daniel Craig doesn't seem to have got his hands on one yet.
If we did want to grab hold of one, he should seek out German inventor and laser enthusiast Patrick Priebe. He took it upon himself to create a real-life laser watch which both tells the time, and more importantly, burns holes in stuff. Don't just take my word for it. This isn't the only incredible invention Priebe has created. Indeed, his website, Lasergadgets.com, is chock of full of impressive custom made gadgets. He's crafted everything from wrist bows to laser guns to my personal favorite - the flame glove.
He does sell certain items to buyers, but unfortunately the laser watch - and some of his more dangerous creations - are not available to the public. Which, let's face it, is probably a good thing.
