The CW show The Flash has started with a bomb, incorperating meta-humans we are familiar with and building up to villians that we all can't wait to see like Grodd and Reverse Flash. Recently I decided to rewatch the season so far and stumbled upon something that I found to be, well, very interesting.
Okay so in Superherodom (I might have just invented that word but stay with me on this one) pretty much one of the most improtant things you can do is keep your identity a secret. Correct?
However so far in The Flash, Barry Allen has revealed his true identity to more than just his inner circle of friends (Dr. Wells, Cisco, Joe, Caitlin, and The Arrow Crew). He also revealed himself to other meta-humans like Tony Woodward, Blackout, and Plastique. Usually to try and convince them that they could be helped.
Now this is where things begin to get pretty interesting what is the one thing that all three of these characters share? Girder and Plastique are 100% dead and presumably Blackout is as well. Now of course there are explinations for their deaths and all but heres the interesting part they all knew the face underneath The Flash's mask.
If any of you have seen The GodFather Part 1 before you'll know that in every death scene there was an orange somewhere to be found. What if when a meta-human sees The Flash's real face, eventually (more so relatively soon) they will end up dead? It give some frightening validation to the quote "Looks can kill" or "killer look." Just wanted to give you readers some food for thought about this correlation I found.
