Deadline has confirmed that the Oscar-winning actress Natalie Portman is currently in talks to play a 'major role' in Universal's upcoming Steve Jobs biopic.
Though her exact role is not yet known, it seems likely that she'll play Steve Jobs' daughter, Lisa Brennan-Jobs. The Black Swan star would be a great addition to the already A-list cast and crew. It's being written by Aaron Sorkin and, when it finally launches into production next year, will be directed by Danny Boyle.
Portman will join Michael Fassbender, set to play Jobs himself, and Seth Rogan, who's due to portray Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak.
Although the title of the project is yet to be announced, Sorkin has confirmed details surrounding the structure of the film, which he says will be based around three 30-minute scenes all set right before three major product launches. These products will be the Mac, NeXT, and the iPod, with each scene taking place in real time.
