After the excitement of the [Star Wars: Episode VII — The Force Awakens](movie:711158) trailer last week, even the biggest doubters among us had to concede it was awesome.

Reddit user sidious7 was so taken by the trailer that he immediately took to the sketch book (a.k.a. photoshop) to draw a few of the key scenes from the trailer, and let me tell you, the results look amazing! In fact they're very reminiscent of something that comes from Pixar or Disney studios, which is quite apt really, considering that Star Wars was bought by Disney in 2012.

Check out the art works for yourself:

John Boyega as a stormtrooper

Check out the panic in his eyes, that jaw line. Perfect!

The new spinning droid

Dubbed by some as the 'rollie pollie' droid, this little guy has already got a keen fan following, with one very dedicated fan going as far as to get it tattooed on his leg!

Daisy Ridley on a speeder

I'm genuinely excited to see Daisy Ridley's role in this new film, especially after seeing her on that cool looking speeder (anyone else get a USB-stick kinda vibe from it?). I love this sketch, it definitely looks like old school Disney.

Oscar Isaac in an X-Wing

By far my favorite of the four sketches, this shot is awesome! A commenter over on Reddit even suggested that he could possibly be a member of the Antilles family, what do you think, maybe Wedge's kid?

Would you have any interest in a Disney animated Star Wars series?
