Are you a fan of Burt Reynolds? Of course you are! Who isn't? The actor/director is loved by many for awesome movies like Deliverance, All Dogs Go to Heaven, and Smoky and the Bandit! Why am I asking such an obvious question like "Are you a fan of Burt Reynolds?" Because if you really are a Reynolds fanatic; you'll be happy to know that Burt is auctioning off tons of items from his long film career!

Unfortunately, it seems the reason for the auction is financial troubles, after Merrill Lynch tried to foreclose on his home in 2011. Still, you can buy some pretty sweet memorabilia and help out Burt Reynolds at the same time! The more you buy, the more you help. So get ready to throw your wallet at the screen as I show you some of the awesome things you can grab!

Ok, ok! Jeez...

The '78 "Bandit" Trans Am!

The original 1978 Trans Am from Smokey and the Bandit! If you've seen Smokey and the Bandit, then you know just how awesome this car is! Just look at it!

The '78 Trans Am was made infamous by Burt Reynolds, driving it around as Bo 'Bandit' Darville, running from that relentless sheriff, Buford T. 'Smokey' Justice. The iconic car bears Burt's custom license plate, BANDT22. Also included in the "Burt-mobile", embroidered seats and a CB radio! This a definite must-get if you're a Reynolds fan wanting to cruise around in such a beautiful car!

SO. COOL. *implodes from extreme excitement levels*

But I'd hurry if you really want this. The Trans Am is currently being bid for $60,000! A large price, but if you've got the cash then it's totally worth it to own this sweet ride!

The canoe from Deliverance!

Now admittedly this one isn't as shiny looking as the Trans Am, but it's still an awesome thing to add to your collection. The original canoe that Burt Reynolds and Jon Voight cruised across the fictional Georgia Cahulawasee river in! Well, that is until they, Ned Beatty and Ronny Cox, ran into some very unfriendly mountain men.

The movie is an emotional survival genre film and if you haven't seen it; what are you waiting for?! Seriously, go see Deliverance and then go buy this awesome canoe so you and your friends can go canoeing! Just maybe not in the Cahulawasee river.

The Deliverance canoe is currently being bid for $600, a great price for a great buy!

The helmet from The Longest Yard!

The helmet worn in the original 1974 film, The Longest Yard (not the 2005 remake)! Now when you play football with your friends, you'll be the star champion of the game! No one will dare challenge your football machismo. It also works if you're playing some fantasy football with the pals.

Sorry Paul Rudd, I said fantasy FOOTBALL.

This helmet can be seen on top of Burt's head as he charges through tons of prison guards unlucky enough to be on the team opposing Burt Reynolds!

Hmm...Who's head am I throwing this at today?
Hmm...Who's head am I throwing this at today?

Though it's not sporting any fancy sports logos, this is the best football helmet you'll ever own. It's refurbished, but you can still tell from tiny blemishes that it was definitely worn by Burt Reynolds, maybe even after the movie! This just makes it even more awesome. So if you want to don this awesome headpiece, it's currently going on auction for $3,750. Yes it's a pretty expensive helmet. But come on. It's Burt freaking Reynolds, guys!

A Boogie Nights Golden Globe Award!

Ever seen Boogie Nights? The drama film about a nightclub dishwasher who rises to fame as a star of pornographic films? Starring Burt Reynolds in a supporting role and a young, not as famous Mark Wahlberg? Well now you too can be a part of that dramatic experience! You know, without all of the "rising to fame as a pornographic star" part. You can own Burt Reynolds' Golden Globe award! Presented to him in 1998, this award for Best Supporting Performance by an Actor was given to Reynolds for his role of Jack Horner. And before you go thinking this is just some shiny replica; it's the actual 10 3/4 by 3 1/2 inches award!

PSY APPROVES!

And once you buy this award, currently bidding at $6000, you can "award" yourself by watching Boogie Nights! It's a very raunchy drama that you probably don't want to watch with your NOT AT ALL mature friends (we all have them), but nevertheless it's a great film.

Also, just look at how young "Marky Mark" is in this film!

My sis says this is "fetus" Mark. Really internet?

Well there you have it. Just some of the MANY items you can bid on in the Burt Reynolds auction! If you'd like to see more of the cool collectibles, including more vehicles, awards, jerseys and even toys then check the rest out here!

Have fun bidding! Meanwhile, I'll just stare at my near empty wallet and stare at the page while sighing!
