Okay, look at the face of this Barbie doll. Does it look like the Hunger Games heroine Katniss Everdeen?

Eh, not so much. Maybe vaguely, but really, it just looks like another generic, pretty doll face. If Jennifer Lawrence has taught us anything, it's that she might not be flawless, but dammit, she's real. So why not have a doll to match that attitude?

The artist Noel Cruz must have been thinking the same thing when he repainted this Barbie to share a closer likeness to Katniss.

That's much better! Don't get me wrong, I understand that in the mass production of toys it's nearly impossible to put this amount of attention to detail into the work. But it's still awesome to know that this kind of work is even possible. Check out these before and after pictures to see the full transformation:

Once the makeup comes off, then the real art starts. The man completely recreated her eyes. Amazing.

I don't even know how he was able to totally nail her face shape and contouring. Now let's take a look at the full finished product.

The doll collecting community is no joke, you could probably even compare it to the actual Hunger Games. Cruz's work is so renowned that his pieces usually sell for thousands of dollars on Ebay. If you could act fast enough, this stellar Katniss Barbie could have been yours for a mere $2,500 (+ $24.95 for shipping)!
