Just came back from the movie theatre and I'm still excited, the movie brought back to me a lot of personal memories of my childhood and teenage years.
Totally get why Boyhood is being pointed as the frontrunner for Best Picture at the Oscars.
Richard Linklater, the director, created a very unique and special coming of age movie since he filmed over 12 years with the same cast. And we can see Mason, the main character growing up literally on screen.
Its also a very nostalgic film because you listen to songs or see devices according to the year they were filming. For example you see the transition between the Motorola V3 and iPhone.
I was more than excited to watch this film and I can tell you I wasn't disappointed at all.
Boyhood was released on July 2014 but due the big buzz surrounding it, some movie theaters re-released it this week. So You have the chance to go and watch it on the big screen.
Also is expected to go on sale on stores and digital between Dec 2014 and Jan 2015.
