Star Wars: Battlefront will be released for the Xbox One and PS4 in the holiday season of 2015! This gives us a tremendous amount of time for speculation, and not only for Star Wars: Battlefront, but [Star Wars: Episode VII — The Force Awakens](movie:711158) as well.

We know that the game for Xbox One and PS4 has some kind of connection to Star Wars 7, therefore I can certainly see a great number of fans rushing to purchase Battlefront before its release, in order to uncover any kind of easter eggs that may lie hidden inside the game. While we don't know what exactly is going to feature in Star Wars: Battlefront, there are some worlds, characters and ships we'd love to see!

Returning Star Wars Worlds

Hoth & Endor - Well, as we can see from the image above and the only kind of information that EA and DICE have granted us, Hoth will be a returning location, and so will Endor by the looks of the E3 trailer! Anyone else get shivers at the end of that trailer?? "And as someone once said - Do or do not, there is no try." Love it!

Dagobah & Yavin 4 - The eerie swamp covered lands where Luke discovers Master Yoda would be an interesting site for some Star Wars battles. Trudging through the mists and swaps and maybe encountering animal NPCs would be a really great addition. Or maybe Yavin 4, once the home of the new Jedi school! It's Mayan like structures would look amazing (especially if the environments were destructible).

Coruscant & Bespin - Running through the halls of diplomacy, destroying every moment of political boredom that George Lucas introduced. Sounds like a joy to me. With its varied heights and busy traffic, Coruscant is a must for Star Wars: Battlefront. Another similar-like setting would be the cityscapes of Bespin, where we were first introduced to Lando Calrissian. Easter eggs relating to the films must be scattered everywhere DICE!

Kashyyyk & Tatooine - The land of the Wookies would be an excellent place to see realised on our Xbox One and PS4 consoles. Maybe we could have Wookies engage in the battles, fighting against both sides in order to protect their lands! Naturally, we also desire the return of the blistering heat of Tatooine for all the right reasons!

Returning Star Wars Ships & Speeders

X-Wing & Tie Fighter - You couldn't start a list without these two! Let's hope the world of Star Wars: Battlefront is populated with vehicles like we have in Battlefield 4. Let there be land based ships, combat on water, air combat and most importantly: space combat. And of course, blend them all together please DICE!

The dream is that we'll be able to engage in some form of capture the flag based combat, after everything on the planet's surface is captured we can push out into space, or go there straight from the beginning if you so desire. The X-Wing and Tie Fighter crafts would be at the core of this design.

Jedi Starfighters - The only good part of all of the three new Star Wars films was some of the designs that they introduced. Obi Wan's starfighter that he used to navigate the asteroids in order to escape Jango is a slick looking piece of machinery. The two smaller Jedi Starfighters that Obi and Anakin fly at the outset of Star Wars Episode 3 were also pretty cool!

Speeders - We all want the 74-Z speeder for our missions on Endor and such, but should DICE limit these vehicles to the areas that they appeared in in the films? Or should they be available for every planet? I'm inclined to suggest that they keep it close to the films...but I would love to drive a speeder on Hoth. I'd also love to see the X-34 Landspeeder.

T-47 Airspeeder, AT-ATs & AT-STs - We all want that classic fight to return once more! Tying the legs of the giant AT-ATs while holding back AT-ST fire was an incredible joy in Star Wars Battlefront 2. On NextGen, we want to feel the intensity of the scenario ten fold. And it should be as tough to tie the rope as it was, no button prompts or any of that crap! Just skill in guiding the rope around.

Returning Characters in Star Wars: Battlefront

Jedi Knights - The ability to play as a hero in Star Wars: Battlefront 2 was a sensational success. The adrenaline rush trying to get away from a speeding Darth Maul should hopefully be increased for Battlefront 3. But which Jedi should feature as playable characters? Here's my list anyway!

Luke Skywalker, Obi Wan-Kenobi (old and young), Mace Windu, Revan (before turning), Kyle...I want to say Yoda, but I don't think I can handle having his awesome old wise state ruined again...

Revan in Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic

Sith Masters - The villains are far cooler in the Star Wars universe, and playing as them would certainly reflect that! Here's my list of playable Siths that should be included!

Darth Nihilus, Darth Revan (after turning...obviously), Darth Maul, Darth Vader, Exar Kun, Darth Vitiate, Darth Sidious. That's my list anyway, and I hope that you'll all throw in you two cents about who you'd like to play as in Star Wars: Battlefront!

Other Characters - Now for the list of heroes who are not Sith nor Jedi! I was never too crazy about playing them as a kid as all I wanted was a lightsaber. But perhaps DICE can do some great work with making these heroes function just as efficiently as those that wield a blade.

Han Solo, Princess Leia, Boba Fett, Chewbacca, Lando Calrissian, Greedo (?!), Wicket and Admiral ACKBAR!!! Got a bit carried away with the last few...but let me know who you'd pick!

So that's it from me! Let me know what planets, characters and ships you'd like to see in Star Wars: Battlefront!! Maybe someone from Star Wars Episode 7? Let us know!
