If you're anything like me, then the line "This is me, Eliza Thornberry, part of your average family," signaled the beginning of the twenty best minutes of after school viewing that could be found: The Wild Thornberrys.
The Wild Thornberrys ran for 5 seasons from 1998 until 2004 and even had three movies (including one which was a Rugrats crossover!). The show told the adventures of Eliza Thornberry and her nomadic family as they traveled the world shooting nature documentaries while Eliza talked with the animals.
It's been 10 years since The Wild Thornberrys last aired a new episode, though that hasn't stopped its loyal fan base, some of whom have taken to creating some amazing art work imagining what the Thornberry kids would look like all grown up!
Take a look for yourself:
All three Thornberrys: Eliza, Donnie and Debbie
All three still looking very similar to how they did in the show but unmistakably grown up! I like that Eliza definitely looks like she's followed Nigel's footsteps to work in the outdoors, and Donnie....Well he still looks the same as ever, right down to his tongue poking out!

Eliza Thornberry all grown up
Eliza is all grown up and looking pretty studious! I like to think that Eliza would definitely be an animal scholar of some sort, maybe even a documentary maker like her parents.

Debbie Thornberry all grown up
I never liked Debbie, she was always such a downer when she was in these amazing countries and situations, but I'm sure when Debbie grew up she probably would have really embraced animals, or she would have become a fashion designer or something like that.

Thornberry sisters together
Looks like Eliza and Debbie became better friends when they grew up than they were in the series!

Donnie Thornberry all grown up
Oh Donnie, were you ever going to be able to vocalize what was going on in that mad head of yours? Apparently not...
