(Note: Pretty massive Arrow SPOILERS below - proceed with caution if you haven't yet seen the midseason finale...)
So - THAT ending, huh?`
That's...well, that's one hell of a thing to get over.
I mean, plot twists I can handle. Abrupt, unhappy endings, featuring grand, epic tragedy for our heroes, no problem. Fundamental sadness, sure.
But that? That's too much to even begin dealing with.
Wondering what 'that' is? Well, first off, you might well want to go ahead and watch the episode, because otherwise what's coming is going to be a pretty horrendous (and unexpected) SPOILER...
Because 'that,' is totally this...
Yup. That's right. Ra's al Ghul totally just straight up cliff-murdered Oliver Queen.
Yup, THAT Oliver Queen.
And, sure, there are a whole lot of ways the show can get out of it - which you can read more about here - but that doesn't change how much it hurts like hell.
Which, it seems, is exactly how [Arrow](series:720988) himself - Stephen Amell - is feeling too.
After posting this in the lead up to the episode...
(Which, to be honest, didn't bode to well in the first place)
...Amell then responded to the episode's huge reveal with this...
Which, despite its awesome simplicity, really doesn't help with that whole emotional trauma thing.
I mean, sure, Amell is probably just trolling us a little bit - which I'm sure is going to seem really funny in a few hours time - but still...
What do you guys think, though?
Still hurting from the Arrow finale?
