I'm just a dude who likes comics and stuff.

I am a first time contributor to this site, but a long-time reader. I hope you enjoy.

So, I would say that it is fairly obvious that the CW is building towards its own little Justice League. But will it be the Justice League of America (JLA) or the Justice Society of America (JSA)? Now, everybody who has been a fan of DC Comics knows that the JSA was the original superhero team from the 1940's. However, I believe that this will be the title used by the group of heroes in the CW universe (possibly TNT and CBS as well, referring to Titans and Supergirl). My reason for this belief is that DC is trying so desperately to keep their TV and movie universes separate. Let me clarify. Since the Justice League movie will be coming to the big screen in in 2017, with some/most of the team being introduced in Batman v. Superman in 2016, I think that the CW will be almost forced to choose a different name for their congregation of heroes. Thus, leading to the creation of the JSA on the small screen. With that being said (sorry for the unplanned rant but I figured it was useful), here is who I would choose, based upon who is already established within the universe and the possibilities moving forward.

First, the members who are pretty much guaranteed:

  • Oliver Queen/The Arrow (Not Green Arrow)
He's Just a bad ass.
He's Just a bad ass.

The first, and most obvious, member is Oliver Queen/The Arrow. Personally, I see Oliver being the leader of this team. He kind of takes the place of Batman. It is evident that there will be no Batman in this universe. He has no powers but he is a seasoned crime-fighter. A skilled martial artist, an expert archer and the perfect candidate for a leader, although sometimes I think he needs work on his people skills (much like Batman). If you need proof of his leadership qualities, go watch the Flash/Arrow crossover.

  • Barry Allen/The Flash

The second most obvious choice is Barry Allen/The Flash. Every team needs a speedster. Granted, he might not be the best crime-fighter out there right now, but hes working on it. We, as viewers, are seeing his development on The Flash more and more each week. I think he needs a better looking suit before he joins this team though. Just my opinion. I think the one he has now is cool, but its not bright enough. Whatever.

  • Ronnie Raymond/Firestorm

First of all, I don't think we'll be seeing the classic Firestorm suit. The CW has a way of changing every character's outfit. This is not a bad thing, however, because sometimes it's nice to see a different rendition of these characters, plus, I kind of hate the Firestorm suit. It just looks strange to me. I'm looking forward to seeing what they do with this. Either way, he's an interesting hero because of his warring personalities. I am not going to go into all of that right now. Look it up if you want to know more about that. Regardless, he is an absolute powerhouse and a necessary member of the team. Just look at the way he saved Flash's ass on the mid-season finale of The Flash. Being able to fly and shoot fire is pretty awesome.

  • Ray Palmer/The Atom

We've already been told that we will not be seeing the power of the A.T.O.M. suit on Arrow, but chances are we will see it on The Flash. It should be interesting to see how they show his powers. Shrinking down to the size of an atom while retaining full strength is insane. Brandon Routh is doing a great job portraying this character. I think he will fit in nicely with the team.

  • Ted Grant/Wildcat

Another powerless hero, Ted Grant was a professional boxer and crime-fighter. He is seasoned in his role and already well established in the TV universe. Granted, he was "retired" when we met him on Arrow. I think coming out of retirement to be a part of the team would be a viable option for him.

Now for the "Maybes":

  • Laurel Lance/Black Canary
I love her.
I love her.

I said maybe to Laurel because she still isn't anything on Arrow yet. Yea, she can fight a little bit. So? I can fight a little bit too but I'm not going out fighting crime. Either way, she will become the Black Canary sooner or later. Hopefully, she becomes the true comic version, meaning she will have her powers. In the comics, she's a bad ass, skilled fighter and can create sonic vibrations from her mouth, known as the "Canary Cry", which can destroy anything in her path. Plus, she's just so sexy.

  • Ted Kord/Blue Beetle

Nothing against Jaime Reyes, but Ted Kord fits this type of show/team. Arrow was not allowed to use the character due to other plans from DC, apparently. So lets just hope. Kord is powerless, like other members of the team, but he's a genius and a skilled martial artist. He also has all kinds of cool gadgets to work with, like his BB gun which can blind people with light or shoot a powerful burst of air that can knock over almost anything.

  • Kara Zor-El/Supergirl

The only reason she is on the maybe list is because her show will be airing on CBS, but I think she'll be included. Being the cousin of Clark Kent/Superman, she has the same powers. Flight, speed, strength and all of the goodies. She would be an essential member and another powerhouse of the team. I would like to see her in a crossover with the Flash and Arrow before the JSA team-up.

My final and favorite member would be none other than:

  • Dick Grayson/Nightwing

Obviously, with the recent announcement that Nightwing would be coming to Titans on TNT, this is doubtful. But, I would still love to see him join. He is an absolute BAD ASS. In my opinion, the best member of the Bat Family. Plus, the Escrima Sticks are just too cool.

So, if you like my list (or hate it) leave a comment below. Thanks for reading my first post!!!!
