Nation, as you may already know, The Colbert Report is coming to a close. After Colbert was announced as David Letterman's Late Show replacement, Comedy Central announced that The Colbert Report would end in eight months, stating:

Comedy Central is proud that the incredibly talented Stephen Colbert has been part of our family for nearly two decades. We look forward to the next eight months of the ground-breaking Colbert Report and wish Stephen the very best.

Stephen Colbert will film his last episode of The Colbert Report on Comedy Central on Dec. 18, and some of the final guests he's been having on the show are truly incredible!

Just a few days ago his show was taken over by the President. As in the POTUS. As in the leader of the free world, Barack Obama! Check that video out below!

Well, its hard to top the Prez... but Colbert is not slacking when it comes to getting interesting guests! Being a massively public Tolkien fan, Colbert has been cross promoting The Hobbit: Battle of the Five Armies like crazy. His most recent guest is almost impossible to get, but he got him! Check out Stephen Colbert's interview with Smaug the Dragon below, or click the link for a high quality video: COLBERT INTERVIEWS SMAUG THE DRAGON!

Here are some images from the show:
