Blade Runner director, Ridley Scott, has confirmed the script for the sequel is complete... and Harrison Ford thinks it's "the best thing he's ever read"!

Astonishingly, it's been 34 years since the original dazzled us with the futuristic portrayal of a dystopian Los Angeles. Director, Scott, has been working on a sequel to the Sci-Fi classic since 2011 with screenplay writer, Hampton Fancher, who also co-wrote the original.

It appears nobody involved has lost any enthusiasm for the sequel. Certainly not Harrison Ford. Speaking in an interview with MTV, Scott said:

"I sent him [Ford] this [script] and he said it's the best thing he's ever read. It's very relevant to what happened in the first one,"

It's still unclear how much of a part Ford's character, Rick Deckard, will play, but Scott alluded to him being involved at film's climax. He said:

"Harrison is very much part of this one, but really it’s about finding him; he comes in in the third act."

I don't know about you, but I'm dying to see Deckard hunting down replicants again.
