As a lifelong Spider-Man fan, I am in huge support of everyone's favorite wall-crawler. But with the recent release of the disaster that is The Amazing Spider-Man 2, I really had to think... Should I even try with this anymore? Should I, as a comic book fan, really stay here and waste my money? TASM 2 was the only movie I have ever legitimately walked out of. And that's really saying a lot. I stuck through Spider-Man 3, but oh no not this. I stuck through every single agonizing minute of Green Lantern, but this, oh... This was too much for me.

Even Spidey doesnt know what he's doing.

But think about this. With this recent release of information with the Sony hacks, Spidey could be in Captain America 3. Which means Marvel Studios gets rights to the web slinger.

OH IT WAS LIKE CHRISTMAS!
OH IT WAS LIKE CHRISTMAS!

So this mean there is, even if it is very small, hope for Spider-Man. Possibly a role in The Avengers will really resurrect this whole situation. And if Marvel can pull this off, maybe Sony will be so kind just to give all the rights to Marvel. It is very improbable, but possible. And with great power comes great responsibility. Even for Marvel. But I think they could pull it off. And you should too.

Spidey hopes too.

All I'm trying to say is, don't give up on the web-slinger. As much as we've been let down, there can be change.
