In an interview with MTV for his comedy sequel [Dumb and Dumber To](movie:293924), Jim Carrey revealed that he wouldn't mind reprising one of his roles, if the director would have him. Given his many years in the industry, this could have meant any number of characters.

Fans of Joel Schumacher's versions of Batman will be happy to know that Jim Carrey, if given the opportunity, would love to work within the new DC universe on their Batman film adaptations.

Carrey does concede that, in the post-Nolan vibe of the dark, gritty superhero world, the likelihood of him donning the skintight, green unitard once again is low. While that may be the case, that doesn't make the idea of it any less fun to think about.

As far as I know, there's nothing in the works to bring the Riddler back yet. But he is definitely one of my favorite Batman villains. And to me, Jim Carrey absolutely blew this performance out of the water.

But who do you think, if not Jim Carrey, could best take on the role of the Riddler? Let me know in the comments section!

Do you want to see the Riddler come back to the Batman film franchise?
