Square Enix's Final Fantasy 15 is yet to receive a release date for the Xbox One and PS4 consoles, though we've seen some beautiful trailers and gameplay so far! But today is Final Fantasy's 27th birthday, will Square Enix have a small surprise planned to celebrate?

Final Fantasy XV is looking like one of the greatest games in the series thus far, and also one of the most expensive, if not the most expensive title Square Enix has ever built. With all of this money behind it, we are at least sure that we're about to receive one of the best looking games of all time on our PS4 and Xbox One consoles. But we want more info!!

We've had concept art, trailers, gameplay, what more could we want?...well...more I spose! Every time I sit down to watch how Final Fantasy 15 looks I'm blown away. The game is an absolute marvel, with an enormous world for us to explore and plenty of party banter to take part in. The combat system seems to be completely refurbished also and moved towards the style we've seen in Kingdom Hearts.

Will anyone be purchasing Final Fantasy Type-0 to get their download code for Final Fantasy 15 next year? It would be incredible to get your hands on that demo, I'm just not all the interested in purchasing FF Type-0...should I consider it?

So, now it remains to be seen, whether Square Enix are going to celebrate Final Fantasy's birthday with some kind of additional teasing information for their upcoming adventure. Will we see a new feature in the game? Could we get a small trailer or some additional gameplay? Or are they simply going to put up a tweet commemorating the day?

It's more than likely going to be the latter, or maybe they'll just show Final Fantasy VII's trailer again....unchanged...again. But Final Fantasy is one of Square's oldest titles, and one that ensured their success in the gaming world! How could they not acknowledge its existence with some kind of celebration on its birthday?!
