Where's Hulk? Good question. I was wondering that too. Yeah, we have Iron Man, Captain America, and Thor. [The Avengers](movie:9040) movie was over-the-top amazing and ever since then people have loved Hulk. But nope, Mark Ruffalo's Hulk isn't having the best luck with getting a solo movie.
Well, turns out Joss Whedon, Kevin Feige, and all those awesome head-honchos at Marvel Studios decided that Hulk would be the only one of the four core Avengers members to not get a solo movie.
Why? Well, the executive head guys at Marvel Studios said this about Hulk to Joss Whedon when he asked about Hulk getting a solo movie.
We think right now it’s good to have somebody who we could only have in The Avengers.
Apparently, Joss Whedon was relieved by this because he said it would have made his job harder had Hulk been running around on his own adventures like Iron Man, Captain America, or Thor.
Everybody loves Mark [Ruffalo]. He’s phenomenal. But the fact that there hasn’t been a Hulk since that Hulk, it doesn’t suck. I mean, my job is hard enough. Cap’s had a movie, Thor’s had a movie. Everyone’s gone through big changes. Iron Man had a movie. So I have to juggle everybody’s perception of that while still making a movie that you can see having not seen any [other Marvel movies] except the first Avengers - or not even that."
We already know Hulk will be getting a good share of the action (Yes, finally!) in [The Avengers: Age Of Ultron](movie:293035). He'll probably be busting up some roads, cars, food stands, and maybe even kicking some Iron Man Hulkbuster rear. But is that enough or should he also get his own solo movie to triple the amount of awesome carnage?
