There's something creepy happening 6 feet under...

Construction workers unearthed... something

At first, workers in Southwark, England thought they'd discovered a human skull. Suspecting criminal activity, they called in the local forensic team. In fact, what they found was much more strange than they could have imagined...

The full skeleton measured well over 2 meters

The chief pathologist examining the baffling find noted

'The arms and legs are much longer than that of any human... The skeleton is unlike any other creature hitherto discovered on Earth'

The skull, in particular, amazed scientists

Bewildered by their find, forensic scientists conducted further tests on the mysterious skeleton, concluding:

'Additional tests show that the bones are that of a creature that was alive in the 1880's'

This find is really causing a stir

BCO news correspondent Belle Lupton, reporting from the South London, England site with the forensic team adds

This creature, whatever it is, could have been alive in the Victorian Era... terrifying stuff.

So... should we be freaking out right now?

I mean, an undiscovered creature? A missing link, a humanoid ape-thing? This is massive news, right?

Well, not so much, actually...

It turns out that this giant mystery skeleton is actually part of a worldwide prank played by the creators of the video game The Order: 1886 that's hitting PS4 on February 20. I guess nobody told all the people going crazy for the mysterious skeleton footage that it was all an elaborate ploy...

Here's the full video.

You gotta admit, it's pretty well done. It certainly had me fooled...

What would you do if you discovered a giant two-meter skeleton that appeared to be some mysterious ancient creature?
