I may be slightly late to the whole Nostalgia Critic party, as I was only recently introduced to the idea by a good friend of mine, but I have to say I absolutely LOVE the Nostalgia Critic, a.k.a. Doug Walker. If you've never watched one of his reviews, I recommend that you stop reading this immediately and go check out his videos on If you dislike my usage of -ly adverbs, I'd suggest you walk away right now. I'm on a roll with them, and it doesn't appear that they're going to stop now.

Not only does he make incredibly valid points about old movies that we know and love (or hate), he is also infinitely amusing while he's at it. I'm not saying I've agreed with all his opinions--I most certainly haven't, but at least he provides logical support for his opinions. Also, I have his review of Howard the Duck to thank for the phrase "duck tits." It's even funnier in context, I promise, but I now use it as a general exclamation of confusion and/or frustration.

Doug and his entire crew over at Channel Awesome are thoroughly amazing and highly entertaining.

Channel Awesome has also produced several feature-length films that are very much worth watching. To Boldly Flee and Kickassia are kind of tied for my favorite. I highly recommend that you check them out.

Watching the Nostalgia Critic's videos is what inspired me to become a creator here. I look forward to sharing my opinions on movies, games and many other things with you all. Enjoy the holidays and don't forget to check out the Nostalgia Critic while you're at it!
