Welcome Iron Man lovers, welcome Captain America fanatics to the 34th CRAVE article: The Marvel Civil War Characters we CRAVE! I hope you all had a great holiday season and I would like to apologize for my absent. The holidays are absolutely crazy! But, we're back and what better way to come back than to talk about the highly anticipated movie: Captain America: Civil War.
On May 6, 2016, we get to see Captain America, Iron Man and Black Panther all in the same movie. That it self is pretty awesome, but we just can't have a civil war with just three heroes, we CRAVE more! But, who do we CRAVE? If you had that question stirring in your mind, you have come to the right place for the answer! I'm here giving you my picks for which characters I would love to see in the upcoming film along with our heroes already set to star. I will try to stay more in the realistic realm of things, so sorry to all the people wanting to see Wolverine.
As some of you know, I like to emphasize that it's my personal opinion and is for fun, but this time it's not my full personal opinion. I asked some creators on Moviepilot and some personal friends, to give me their picks of who should be included, so that this post could have more spice added. So what I'm saying is this is our own personal opinion and is just for fun.
Anyways, let us chose a side, suit up, prepare to fight our allies and get this thing started!
A dedicated US Marine excelling as a soldier in every way, Frank Castle was a force to be reckoned with during the Vietnam War but also a dedicated family man.
Disaster struck one day, years later, when Frank and his family went for a picnic in Central Park only to witness a mob execution on a high profile member of the mafia. The mob fired on his family, killing them all before his eyes and thus destroying everything he lived for.
Unable to move on and failed by a corrupt justice system bought out by the mafia, Frank Castle sought revenge, prompting him to leave his old life and to go AWOL from the Marines just as he was to receive the Medal of Honour.
Setting out to avenge his family, he took on the name of The Punisher, donning the black battle suit sporting the stark white skull and not only vowed to have revenge for his family, but also to dedicate the rest of his life to fighting violent crime in all its manifestations.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is a fun filled universe that makes great superhero movies, but doesn't have to many dark elements (not yet at least). To fill some of those dark element holes, Marvel could bring in the beloved Punisher. I'm not saying that they should go full on "Dark Knight dark" with Frank, but just a little dark to add some spice to that amazing universe. And what better film to introduce him into than Civil War!
The Russo Brothers hinted (or maybe just had fun) that Punisher was in Winter Soldier running over things in a Penske truck, which personally got me excited. Picturing Punisher in the MCU is awesome, but picturing him fighting Iron Man and other heroes is ten times better. Not only does it paint a stunning picture, but it just makes since. Punisher isn't from space or some other realm, so it's easy to just slid him into a film without worrying about too much confusion. And probably most importantly, he was actually in the Civil War comic. Overall, Punisher is an obvious choice and a fan favorite for the movie (or any movie).
Ragnarok was created in the early days of the superhuman Civil War by Reed Richards, Tony Stark, Criti Noll and later Baron Von Blitzschlag using DNA from Thor. The clone's purpose was to assist the Pro-Registration forces in place of, the then-dead, Thor. The clone was tested and eventually set to be deployed when the need for a Thor would arise.

Just imagine seeing our beloved Chris Hemsworth play a evil clone of Thor (himself) and kicking the crap out of all our favorite heroes like Captain America. Just take my money Marvel! Not only is it a super sweet concept , but it can work at just nicely. If Age of Ultron ends with Thor leaving earth to prepare for other "issues" (Thor: Ragnarok) and during the Civil War, Stark gets very desperate, then Ragnarok can be built and can reek havoc on the heroes.
But also, if you have read the comic you know that Ragnarok kills a pretty major character, so if that can somehow transfer to the movie I would totally be game for that!
Living in the Hell's Kitchen neighborhood of New York City, Matt Murdock is blinded by a radioactive substance that falls from an oncoming vehicle. While he no longer can see, the radioactive exposure heightens his remaining senses beyond normal human ability. His father, a boxer named Jack Murdock, supports him as he grows up, though Jack is later killed by gangsters after refusing to throw a fight. After donning a yellow and dark red, and later an all dark red costume, Matt seeks out revenge against his father's killers as the superhero Daredevil!

No CRAVE article is complete without a personal pick from the grand master! I wouldn't say it's a personal pick because I'm sure lots of people would agree with me on The Man without Fear. With his new Netflix series arriving April of this year and Marvel says he is apart of the MCU, but I don't just want a saying, I want him in Marvel movies! And there is (and I mean there is) no other perfect way Daredevil could make his big screen (re)debut than Captain America: Civil War. Like the previous picks, Daredevil was actually in the Civil War comic which makes it even sweeter! Marvel, do the fans a favor and put him in this war!
