#5. Iron Man (2008)
Iron Man is the one that changed everything, I love this movie to death the acting, the writing, the chemistry between Robert Downey Jr. and Gwyneth Paltrow is magical. Jeff Bridges kills it as Iron Monger, I always say there is no perfect comic book movie but Iron Man is probably as close as you will get.
#4. Dredd (2012)
Iv'e never read Judge Dredd comics before, Dredd (2012) came out. And as soon as I left the theater from seeing Dredd I admittedly went on Amazon and brought Judge Dredd graphic novels.
I have a good friend who is a huge fan of Judge Dredd and he tells me this is the most comic book accurate movie ever. If you like action, slow motion, impressive special effects, and self-satire and deadpan humor Dredd is the movie for you.
#3. Batman (89)
Batman and Superman are the two characters that got me into comic books so I hold them to the highest regard. And ladies and gentlemen Batman 89 is the highest of the highest regard. As a huge Batman fan when I watch Batman 89 i'm seeing Batman on screen.
While many love the Christopher Nolan Batman movies and that's fine, but my issue with the Nolan trilogy is that it does not FEEL like Batman. I feel like The Dark Knight trilogy is a impersonation of Batman, while Batman 89 is a Batman movie through and through.
#2. X2: X-Men United
What is there for me to say about X2: X-Men United others have not said? This movie is a masterpiece that's all I can really say. If you have not seen X-Men 2 or you have not seen it in a while. I recommended to go back and give it another spin, it still gives current comic book movies a run for their money.
#1. Spider-Man 2
Do you remember when Spider-Man movies were good? Well, because I do... Spider-Man 2 is not just a good movie, or a great movie just like Bryan Singer's X-Men: 2 Spider-Man 2 is also a masterpiece. Spider-Man 2 has heart, action, and don't even get me started with that train scene.
You can tell the people behind it gave a damn, compared to this summers The Amazing Spider-Man 2 in which you can tell everyone just wanted to go home.
