2015 is shaping up to be exciting in the Star Wars community, The Empire Strikes Back turns 38 and Revenge of The Sith turns ten years old as does Star Wars Knights of The Old Repulbic II: The Sith Lords. After ending of the saga back in 2005 at the end of the line everyone was thinking thats it now for Star Wars. Back to Video Games and Comics but then we got television series Star Wars Clone Wars and now Star Wars Rebels. After selling Star Wars to Disney, it was announced we would be getting a brand new Star Wars trilogy (Gasp) a new one but who is going to be involved?

The read through photo was revealed we would be getting Andy Serkis, John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Oscar Issac, Max Von Swydon and Domnhall Gleeson as the main new cast. But what was surprising was Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Harrison Ford, Anthony Daniels and Peter Mayhew, of course Kenny Baker is back but he wasn't at the read through. J.J. Abrams was announced to be directing the movie and co-writing it with Lawrence Kasdan. It is very exciting we are getting a new film of the franchise as besides Doctor Who, I grew up with this franchise seeing the original trilogy on VHS and then the Phantom Menace was the last VHS one I saw then i watched Attack of The Clones and Revenge of The Sith on DVD and I feel in love with this movie franchise. As a Star Wars fan I am excited we are getting more from the saga and to head now in the future again is quiet exciting to see how thirty years have passed since the end of Return of The Jedi. Joining the main cast is returning for his third Star Wars film is Warwick Davis, he will be in a brand new role which hasn't been talked about. Lupita Nyong'o, Gwendoline Christie,Crystal Clarke, Pip Andersen, Christina Chong, Miltos Yerolemou and Greg Grunberg have also joined the cast but their roles are also not in the known. Billie Lourd has been cast in a rumored role to be portraying a young Princess Leia because of her ties to Carrie Fisher being her mum. Also rumored for the film is Simon Pegg, Daniel Craig, Hugh Jackman, Samuel L Jackson, Robert Downey Jr and Benedict Cumberbatch. How ever the outcome, the film is going to be exciting and it's great to be hearing the music of John Williams again as he will be returning to compose for the franchise again. I for one am looking forward to it and can't wait until it hits cinema.
