After the huge success of X-Men: Days of Future Past this past summer, Bryan Singer and Fox are gearing up for the next installment in the mutant franchise, Apocalypse. The film, which is going to be set in the 1980s, will feature one of the most powerful and popular villains of the X-Men, and the character was teased in a post-credits scene in Days of Future Past. In his Instagram account, Singer posted a picture teasing the film. Take a look below at the image.

The photo doesn’t reveal much except that Apocalypse will come from Egypt something that we already knew but the tease is enough to get people excited about the upcoming film. Singer directed the first two X-Men films, which remain very popular but he left for the third one and the franchise took a hit as The Last Stand was met with negative criticism that is still felt nowadays. Things didn’t get better when Fox released X-Men Origins: Wolverine, which is regarded as the worst film in the franchise. Singer returned for Days of Future Past and corrected past mistakes, making the X-Men relevant again.

X-Men: Apocalypse is set for release on May 27, 2016.
