Spider-Woman is probably the most yearned for character in the MCU. She's smart, resourceful, and agile. Just to clarify, I'm talking Jessica Drew. In the comics, Jessica Drew was a former agent of HYDRA who accidentally killed her partner and lover. After learning of HYDRA's true nature, she joins SHIELD. Her powers include super speed, strength, durability, stamina, agility, wall crawling, venom shooting, etc, all thanks to a genetic experiment on her by HYDRA. Now, let me tell you how she should be introduced:
[Black Widow](movie:1070824) and Hawkeye in a movie together alone would be awesome. But who would be the villain? Now I touched on this in my last article, but here's the plot: It's set in present day, and Black Widow and Hawkeye are hunting down a HYDRA agent for Nick Fury.
Whatever they need the agent for, I don't know, but it's not important. This agent would turn out to be Jessica Drew, the film's antagonist, giving a strong female presence.
At the end of the movie, she sees what HYDRA truly is. Evil, ruthless, cunning, murderous. She realizes what she was fighting for, and turns herself in to SHIELD. Here we see her discussing with Fury, Black Widow, and Hawkeye about her past and working out a deal. At the end of the movie we see Black Widow and Hawkeye going out to neutralize a threat, only for Spider-Woman to join them.
I expect this to happen in Phase 4.
