If you can't already tell from my high praise over Pixar's trailer, I am so completely head over heels excited to see their upcoming film, Inside Out. This looks like another funny, sweet, family-friendly Pixar win for the books.

Here we have a newly released still from the film, showing what eleven-year-old Riley's consciousness looks like from - for lack of a better term - the inside out:

Looks pretty nice to me! Maybe they're bonding over some fond memories, or just taking in the beautiful sites.

[Inside Out](movie:332779) is not only directed by a seasoned Pixar veteran, Pete Docter (Monster's Inc., Up), but it also features an all-star cast including: Amy Poehler, Bill Hader, Mindy Kaling, Lewis Black, and Phyllis Smith.

While we have a pretty decent idea of what the film will look like from the trailer, a lot of the plot points are still a mystery. Trust me when I say, that's a good thing! I'm tired of watching trailers and knowing how the entire movie unfolds. Luckily, as has been proven time and time again, Pixar knows exactly what they're doing. Here's what we know so far from their page:

Growing up can be a bumpy road, and it's no exception for Riley, who is uprooted from her Midwest life when her father starts a new job in San Francisco. Like all of us, Riley is guided by her emotions – Joy (Poehler), Fear (Hader), Anger (Black), Disgust (Kaling) and Sadness (Smith). The emotions live in Headquarters, the control center inside Riley’s mind, where they help advise her through everyday life. As Riley and her emotions struggle to adjust to a new life in San Francisco, turmoil ensues in Headquarters. Although Joy, Riley's main and most important emotion, tries to keep things positive, the emotions conflict on how best to navigate a new city, house and school.

If you remember being eleven-years-old, or just being a human with emotions, the premise of the movie will already sound familiar. Like any good film, Inside Out takes something entirely relatable and adds a creative spin. I can't wait to see the end result!
