I've done my homework.

It's been a while since I pumped out a fancast. Any avid readers of my articles will know that that's my main thing. It should be common knowledge by now amongst the comic book community that TNT is developing a TV series by the name of "Titans". As far as my knowledge goes, it wont be Teen Titans, per say, but an older version of the group. I'm also under the impression that Nightwing, Starfire, and Raven are all confirmed for the show. Knowing that, we really don't know much. That lineup is dynamic enough to be the entire team, but it's a safe bet to assume that there will be at least two or three more Titans on the show eventually. So, I am going to do my best to cast a fair number of reasonable Teen Titans. This is going to be especially difficult for the fact that I have to consider that it is a TV show. So big name actors are out. I also will be confined to mostly younger actors and actresses. Wish me luck.

First off, i'll address heroes that didn't make the cut. Cyborg will most likely not appear in the series due to his new role as a leaguer in both the comics and in the Cinematic Universe. Also, Terra will most likely not be involved due to the fact that the show will most likely be taking place after them being Teen Titans. Therefor, it is most likely that the Terra story will have already happened. Speedy probably wont appear either due to a combination of Red Arrow's presence in TV already and his power set/abilities clashing with Nightwing's.

1.) Nightwing: Thomas Dekker

Why? Thomas Dekker is a good up and coming star. I think It would be the right move for him to take on the role of Nightwing.

2.) Starfire: Nicola Peltz

Why? Nicola Peltz is a real up and coming actress who would be perfect to play a super heroine. While she is still mostly a TV star, I believe that she fits this role.

3.) Raven: Brie Larson

Why? I can't stress how well Brie Larson would do as an older raven. She does so well as gloomy, mean girls. She is also not shy to taking on TV roles. I think this is meant to be.

4.) Beast Boy *: Max Thieriot

*I almost excluded Beast Boy due to the fact that he most likely would no longer be with the Titans after his adolescent years. But, he has been a staple for years, and is still with them in the comics. And, even if he did leave the team, it's likely that he would still appear in a few episodes as a member of the Doom Patrol. I think that it would be strategic to include the Doom Patrol anyways, similar to the way that the animated series did it.

Why? I think that Max would be a really great matured version of Beast Boy. A little gloomier than what we know because of his experience up to the time setting of the show.

5.) Wonder Girl (Cassie Sandsmark): Victoria Thaine

Why? She is a good actress. She looks the part. And she is relatively unknown. Perfect for the role.

6.) Superboy: Hunter Parrish

Why? Parrish did really well on Weeds, and hasn't been doing much since then. This would be a really good role for him to take on.

7.) Aqualad: Stephan James

Why? James is an actor with the looks and chops to get the job done. He doesn't have a big enough status to break my rule about big movie stars not joining the cast.

8.) Kid Flash: John D'Leo

Why? I enjoyed him in "The Family". He is a young actor who needs to get his name out there, what better way than to play a super hero on a popular TV show?

Thanks for reading guys. Let me know what you thought in the comments!
