It looks like The Vision, in the upcoming Avengers: Age of Ultron, will be a pretty faithful depiction of the Android Superhero. He will have his mass altering abilities, allowing him to pass through solid objects like a ghost as well as increasing his mass to a diamond hard structure. He will also have the ability to Fly as well, making him a formidable addition to the Avengers' Team in the fight against Ultron.

A few things in his origin have been tweaked, He is now the creation of Tony Stark and Bruce Banner whereas in the comics he was created by Ultron- who used an android body Hank Pym was working on to give Wonder-Man a physical form, after his Ionic Energy powers had destroyed his own body.

The Vision first appeared in Avengers Issue #57

He was sent by Ultron to destroy the Avengers in his debut. He was named by The Wasp (Janet van Dyne) who was the first to cross paths with him. It is interesting to note that the team at that time consisted of Giant-Man/Ant-Man, The Wasp, Hawkeye and Black Panther. This is quite different than the Avengers Team we will see in Age of Ultron.

The Vision will be played by Paul Bettany who has voiced Jarvis in the 3 prior Iron-Man films as well as the 2012 debut of The Avengers. His costume looks very close to the comic-book version which is something that Marvel Studios has been quite adept at doing versus what Fox Studios chose to do with the costumes (or lack thereof) of The X-Men. If you look at the Costumes of the Avengers you will note they look very close to either the Classic or in some cases The Ultimate version of these Heroes.

I'm interested to hear what you think of this first look at The Vision in the upcoming Avengers: Age of Ultron...
