I think I need to reevaluate whether I have the right friends. None of them would do for me something as epic as what Redditor Katie, a.k.a. SoButtons' friend did for her birthday. She essentially turned her apartment into Hogwarts and did so in an incredibly detailed and awesome way.

So, let's get right into it...

Hanging Hogwarts letters

There's no way dangling these letters from the ceiling could have been very easy. I wonder if 28-year-old Katie handled this influx of letters better than the Dursley's.

And the attention to detail is quite good... her friend (who is clearly the best friend to have) even stamps the letters with a Hogwarts crest and uses an "H" seal.

Moaning Myrtle hanging out in the toilet

Now, there's something a little bit wrong about this, but I still have to say it's pretty good.

She even made the staircase rotate... kind of

She also added, in red marker on the bathroom mirror:

The Chamber of Secrets has been opened. Enemies of the Heir, Beware.

The fat lady portrait and 'Platform 9 3/4' Tickets

Those are some truly valuable tickets.

Gringott's Coinage

Katie, don't spend it all in one place. Unless that one place is Diagon Alley. There's a lot of good stuff you can buy from there, to be honest.

Harry himself even made an appearance

I can't believe Katie's friend was able to get Harry to take a break from the Wizarding World to make an appearance for Katie's birthday, but I'm sure she's pretty happy he did!

HappEE BirthdAE Katie, Hagrid cake from the first book

Terrible spelling by Hagrid, but it's the thought that counts!

'Wanted' poster for a truly dangerous wizard

Be careful, this guy has been in and out of Azkaban and is known to loiter outside of Gringotts picking pockets and the like. He will Avada Kedavra your ass if you aren't careful!

Some more 'Wanted' posters

I was always a huge fan of the Sirius Black mugshot. Very cool and a nice touch.

Defense Against The Dark Arts Professor

This guy was one of the ever-rotating Professors of Defense Against the Dark Arts. He only lasted one year, of course.

What a great friend .
