The first official trailer for MARVEL's second movie of 2015 dropped last night, ANT-MAN is on the way!

Michael Douglas narrates the trailer as Hank Pym, the man originally inside the Ant-Man suit, he is giving advice to Scott Lang (Paul Rudd), a convicted thief who looks to be righting all the wrongs in his life. Pym is convincing Lang to don the suit and become the Ant-Man.

I watched the trailer early this morning and I was very underwhelmed, but have watched it several times more and its grown on me. I have always been excited for the movie but this trailer hasn't done anything to effect my anticipation. I did however respect that the trailer made no attempt to connect this to the wider Marvel universe, it looks like a story that will stand on its own, which seems refreshing when coming from Marvel. They also quickly addressed that "Ant-Man" isn't the coolest name in the Marvel universe.

I am still firmly sure that "Ant-Man" will be a good film but this trailer didn't do a lot for me, it had some visually impressive moments and it looks like its going to be a lot of fun, but nothing blew me away.

What do you guys think? Was I expecting too much or is this simply an average teaser? Comment below and let me know what you thought of the first teaser for "ANT-MAN"!
