Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is still without a release date as Kojima continues to taunt us over the PS3, PS4, PC, Xbox 360 and Xbox One title. Every day there seems to be more rumours regarding what exactly we're going to be seeing in this game, and it's easy to believe them when you see Kojima put a chicken hat in MGS 5. But will we really be getting Peace Walker's Co-op?!

Snake's world was always a solitary one until Peace Walker introduced a lot of great additions to the series. It's more than likely the best PSP game out there! One of the greatest things that we saw with this game was co-op and now it looks like we'll be having this feature once more in Metal Gear Solid 5.

The news comes from an actual video for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. It shows off the Idroid concept designs that were created by Kyle Cooper. This is the man that is responsible for designing the logo of MGS 5. In a video that shows off his work, you get a shot of the menu in the game, and it had a little surprise in store.

Want to check it out for yourself? Then check out the video below and ensure that you pause it between 0.15 seconds and 0.16 seconds. You should be able to make out the name "Co-op" next to Helicopter and Buddy.

I don't know about you, but I say that it's more than likely that Co-op is in there now! This is an official source that we're getting this information from, why would he have fabricated a menu that had Co-op on it if the game itself didn't have the option? Have you also heard that we'll be able to play as the wolf?!

In the PC files on Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, someone found a file that detailed the button prompts for Snake's canine companion! Like... Kojima is so insane that the dog actually barks in different ways...I love this man!

Of course he has an eye patch

The commands detailed a run option, a sneak option, two different kind of barks and a form of attacking. SO, what if co-op and the ability to play as this wolf are actually joined?? Perhaps we can do a mission together and one player takes on the role of Snake and the other the wolf.

Together we could have some very interesting infiltration missions going on with these dynamics! Let us know what you think of Co-op and playing as the wolf in the comments!!
