Hold on to your butts! There have been serious rumblings around the web that the imminent teaser trailer for Zack Snyder's upcoming mega-ultra-epic, [Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice](movie:711870), is going to be attached to the theatrical release of The Wachowski's latest endeavor, Jupiter Ascending. Since Snyder wrapped principle photography on Dawn of Justice about a month ago, it makes sense that a theatrical teaser trailer would soon follow, so the timing of release seems about right to me.
To further confirm this, a recent post on the Something Awful Forums also linked me this trailer schedule that details the teaser drop date, which I can assume is from an official source, considering the content.
Despite being listed as a "projected" date, I'm very confident WB and DC are going to move forward with getting a teaser out for Dawn of Justice as fast as they can to counter the looming onslaught of Marvel's marketing for Age of Ultron. As per a recent post from Moviepilot's own John Negroni, it's also looking like Jupiter Ascending is going to need all the help it can get to make a few box office dollars.
So there you have it. In less than a month from now, we'll be getting our first official look at the highly anticipated follow up to [Man of Steel](movie:15593). What can we expect from the teaser? I think any footage at this point will induce a manic frenzy among the comic book movie crazed masses. WB/DC could even just use the Comic-Con teaser that Snyder introduced this past summer, and that would honestly be satisfying enough. I'm personally hoping we'll catch a glimpse of Gal Gadot in action donning her full Wonder Woman costume. Either way, the teaser will most definitely destroy the internet for a bit on its release day, no doubt. GET HYPED!
