Jaden Smith's modern take on The Karate Kid wasn't at all half bad, but nothing beats the incredible 1984 original!

Mr. Miyagi and his martial arts protege, Daniel LaRusso, were an unstoppable duo, fighting off (in self-defence only!) crooked gym leaders and illegal leg sweeps.

For a good chunk of my childhood, I was physically unable to walk past a bollard without breaking out my much-practiced crane kick. 31 years after the movie's original release, I'm a little less flexible than I once was, as I'm sure are the cast!

You won't believe just how much they've all changed. Wax on, wax off!
