Anyway you look at it, 1995 was a fantastic year for cinema. It was the year that Buzz Lightyear learned he could fly, Mel Gibson stood up for the Scottish and Robin Williams rolled the dangerous Jumanji dice.

If you're looking for a concentrated dose of nostalgia directly administered to your brain, look no further than this list! It's like revisiting the VHS shelf in my childhood living room.

So, without further ado, let us celebrate movie history by revisiting the 20 movies that are due to turn 20 this year...

(Each film is arranged in the order they came out)

1. Billy Madison

Release Date: February 10

It's been 20 years and I'm still not sure whether Adam Sandler has grown up yet!

2. Clueless

Release Date: February 16

Alicia Silverstone stars in this classic American comedy. Also, look out for a young Paul Rudd at the beginning of his career!

3. Bad Boys

Release Date: April 7

Bad boys, bad boys. Watcha gonna do when they come for you?!

4. Die Hard with a Vengeance

Release Date: May 15

It's not a popular Die Hard movie with critics, but it still holds a special place in my heart for Jeremy Irons' fantastically smarmy performance.

5. Braveheart

Release Date: May 19

Freeeeeeeedom! That is all.

6. Casper

Release Date: May 26

Ah, how I remember Casper the friendly ghost - I used to watch the VHS tape almost every week!

7. Batman Forever

Release Date: June 9

Kilmer's Dark Knight faces off against an all star cast in this comic book caper.

8. Apollo 13

Release Date: June 22

Tom Hanks' mission to the moon is two decades old now! At least that's a good excuse to re-watch it.

9. Pocahontas

Release Date: June 23

With its sublime animation, compelling story and wonderful soundtrack, this Disney classic is as great as it ever was.

10. Waterworld

Release Date: July 28

Kevin Costner's post-apocalyptic adventure still totally stands up today.

11. Babe

Release Date: August 4

Everyone's favorite talking piglet dodges the bacon factory by winning over his farmer's heart. That'll do, Pig. That'll do.

12. Mortal Kombat

Release Date: August 18

The Mortal Kombat theme tune was my ringtone for an embarrassing amount of time after I saw this movie. No regrets.

13. Desperado

Release Date: August 25

Robert Rodriguez's revenge-tale classic blew my teenage mind. I mean, what can possibly be better than a guitar case full of guns?!

14. Seven

Release Date: September 22

One of David Fincher's finest films turns 20, and Brad Pitt still wants to know what's in the box.

15. Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls

Release Date: November 10

'And you must be the Monopoly guy!'

16. Casino

Release Date: November 14

Scorsese does what he does best in this Vegas-set mob thriller. Brutal and brilliant.

17. Goldeneye

Release Date: November 17

Surely one of the best Bond movies of all time. Brosnan will always be 007 in my eyes.

18. Toy Story

Release Date: November 22

That's right - Pixar's animated smash hit franchise began almost 20 whole years ago! As I've grown up with the series, it's only gotten nearer and dearer to my heart.

19. Heat

Release Date: December 15

Hollywood heavyweights Al Pacino and Robert De Niro confront each other in this epic crime drama. Best bank heist scene ever!

20. Jumanji

Release Date: December 15

Robin Williams' board game battle against the elements is superbly fun, but that British hunter still scares me to this day!
