Hooray for slow reveals! Naughty Dog has finally let loose some sweet nuggets of information which reveal the happenings in the last chapter of the tale of the Playstation dwelling, rock climbing and world adventuring rogue Nathan Drake!
We now know that Uncharted 4: A Thief's End will be set three years after the ending of Uncharted 3, where Drake's life has altered quite radically...
He is forced back into the world of thieves. With the stakes much more personal, Drake embarks on a globe-trotting journey in pursuit of a historical conspiracy behind a fabled pirate treasure. His greatest adventure will test his physical limits, his resolve, and ultimately what he’s willing to sacrifice to save the ones he loves.
The game sees the quick-witted thief joined by his long lost, and supposedly dead, brother Sam Drake, played by none other than the great Troy Baker who, seemingly, drags Nathan out of his marital lull and back into a life of intercontinental thievery.

The two will travel to Libertalia, a mythical Madagascan colony established by pirates, and through snow, lush forests and urban landscapes to the Indian Ocean, in a race against two rival treasure hunters named Rafe and Nadine. Rafe is, reportedly, different from Nathan Drake in approach and moralistic terms, and Nadine owns a private militia in South Africa.
Sam will be an AI controlled character, in a similar to vein to The Last Of Us' Ellie, and will come complete with a fairly similar skillset to his younger brother's, but lackluster when compared, thus creating a dangerous brotherly rivalry and some sweet dramatic tension for us to sink our teeth into.
Enemies can grab Drake's leg when thrown over ledges, the game will implement a higher amount of navigational choice, meaning you have many paths to choose from when attempting to traverse locations and multiplayer will return. Does that mean... co-op?! Oh please, please make it so!
Uncharted 4 will release later this year on Playstation 4 only. After this news, my hands begin to shake with excitement! I can honestly not wait for this game.
How about you guys?
