The next trailer to Avengers: Age of Ultron is upon us. It was announced a few weeks back that a new trailer to the anticipated sequel would be appearing on January 12th on ESPN during the College Football Playoff National Championship. The game starts tonight at 8:30, so if you are watching the game, it would be best to keep your eyes open for the preview. Yet if you are not watching tonight's game, then the preview will probably be online shortly after it airs on ESPN. Nevertheless, with the trailer's release just hours away, we can only imagine what the preview has in store for viewers. With this preview likely being the full trailer, you can be sure that Marvel Studio will definitely tease their major blockbuster. So for the time being here are moments I am hoping to see in the new trailer to Avengers: Age of Ultron

Ultron In Action:

The first trailer featured Ultron perfectly. The preview showcased the villain as a major threat to the Avengers and hearing James Spader's performance as Ultron was enough to get me excited for this villainous portrayal. Yet the one thing that was missing in the trailer was seeing Ultron fighting the Avengers. A showdown between the Earth's Mightiest Heroes and this Mechanical Menace is inevitable, but we have yet to see just how Ultron operates in a fight. Hopefully we will get an idea of how the villain does battle in this new trailer. While I do not expect to see a lot of Ultron in action, I do however expect to see bits and pieces of his fight sequences. It would be nice to see what Ultron has in his arsenal with the exception of his army of drones. Though I would like to see more of Ultron's character, seeing just a clip of The Avengers fighting this foe would be enough to satisfy me.

Story Details:

Though the teaser trailer did enough for viewers to get a semblance of Age of Ultron's plot, there is still a lot of the story we do not know about. With this new trailer I am hoping we get a better idea of what the overall plot is about. Now I am not saying that the trailer should reveal everything. With a movie like this it is best to keep some things a mystery. However, I am hoping that factors, such as how the Avengers get back together and the involvement of Hydra, play a role in this upcoming trailer. I am certain that more of the story will be revealed in the preview, and hopefully it is enough to get me invested in Age of Ultron's plot.

Character Details:

We know that more characters will be featured in this blockbuster with major additions to the cast being Quicksilver (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) and Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen); who have been confirmed for Age of Ultron since the movie's pre-production. However, while we did see the characters in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, we do not know how they will factor in this movie's plot. This goes for array of characters; both new and old. We have yet to see Nick Fury's role in the film and though we have seen Claudia Kim as Dr.Cho in several shots for the movie, there has been little to nothing on whether are not Cho has a big part in this movie . Heck even the Avengers' developments are even a mystery. Many characters' purpose in Age of Ultron has yet to be seen; so maybe we will start getting more ideas behind the cast in the upcoming trailer. I do not see the trailer showing off every character and featuring every detail on the ensemble. However I am hoping we get additional information on Age of Ultron's cast in this new preview. At the very least I think we will get to hear characters such as Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver speak in the full trailer.

While this would fall under the spot above, I feel that the Vision above any character needs to make an appearance in this trailer. Since the start of last year, Vision has been confirmed to make an appearance of in Age of Ultron; and Paul Bettany is set to play the role. In the previous trailer Vision was no where to be seen; which made sense as the filmmakers were trying to keep the character a mystery. Now with more content being revealed on this android, I believe now would be an appropriate time to showcase Vision. I do not expect Vision playing a major role in this upcoming trailer. If anything, I can see the Avenger showing up at the very end of the preview as we see Vision in action for the first time. If anything, just seeing Vision in the preview will definitely be a highlight for the trailer, and it will surely have viewers talking about it for weeks to come.

It is possible that tonight's preview may not be the full trailer to Age of Ultron. It could very well be a long TV spot for the film; which ties into the movie's full trailer. However, given the blockbuster is less then 5 months away, perhaps it is time for the film to reveal its full preview. There are a number of ways that this preview can play out; and even if it does not showcase the moments above, I am hoping that this trailer is thrilling and gets me excited for the summer blockbuster.
