Ubisoft and Tom Clancy are seriously busy working together this year! They have two games on the way, both of which haven't received their (presumed) 2015 release dates. Tom Clancy's The Division is an MMO set in an apocalyptic US, whereas Rainbow Six: Siege takes teamplay to a whole new level.

But with both of these titles being wildly different from one another, which one of them has acquired your attention? Or are you excited for both? Having played the two Rainbow Six Vegas games, I seriously can't wait to see what they can do with this franchise on the Xbox One and PS4! But then there's The Division, which could be many players number one game for the year ahead...

Tom Clancy's The Division vs Rainbow Six Siege

Rainbow Six: Siege

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Siege will be heavily focused on squad based action, more than likely upgrading its online multiplayer abilities to new heights. For those that haven't seen the gameplay trailer for the upcoming title, you've got to check it out below.

We'll be required to constantly communicate with one another it seems, as we cautiously plan are way of attacking or protecting a particular area. It seems that each side can hold up to 5 players on each team, with this scenario showing how one team attempts to infiltrate a house and rescue a hostage.

The combat looks slick, the gadgets at our disposal are seriously cool and to be honest, if it reaches the heights that the Vegas games achieved before it, it has my money already. But could it really have more potential then Tom Clancy's The Division?!

The Division

The Division shows an America that has been devastated by the outbreak of a disease; one that has crippled the country over a period of three days. You play as a member of the Division, a task force assigned by the president, to contain the situation and save as many civilians as possible. This is an MMO, therefore its giant city is open to us all to survive in.

Unlike Destiny, the game will have a mixture of PvP and PvE combat, making the game a far more rewarding and interesting experience by the sounds of things already. We will be able to form squads and gangs, hold down areas together, scout for supplies together and destroy our enemies together. It can potentially be one of the best games of the year, as long as it isn't met with any of the issues that plagued The Crew and Assassin's Creed: Unity.

Ubisoft is a publisher that is just constantly busy. Seriously. Every single year they release a ridiculous amount of titles, and they always find time for another Assassin's Creed, with Assassin's Creed: Victory well on the way. Couldn't care less about this one to be honest.

But The Division has some real potential for change. It's great to see an MMO that's set in our world and one that is relatively modern too. The setting is great, the story is intriguing, but it really could go so wrong. I sincerely hope that these two titles make it out this year and that they won't be pushed to 2016.
