Since his child acting career ended, Macauley Culkin has been most famous for paparazzi pictures of him looking strung out and gaunt, but things have taken a turn for the better over the past couple of years.
The reclusive star might have gone well and truly off the rails when his relationship with Mila Kunis, his girlfriend of 8 years, ended in 2011, but time can heal a lot of wounds. Especially when it is served up with a slice of musical pizza.
Since cleaning up his lifestyle, and his haggard appearance as a result, Culkin has been singing and playing percussion in a pizza-themed comedy rock band named The Pizza Underground.
The band plays covers of iconic Velvet Underground songs with the lyrics changed to make them more suitably pizza-centric.
The percussionist hammers out beats on an empty pizza box to further enhance the theme and everyone on stage tells jokes throughout to keep the crowd smiling.
Culkin's new career move might be bizarre and silly, but he's clearly having the time of his life blending his passion for pizza and great music because not even other people's negativity can get him down.
When the band played in Nottingham, England in 2014, they were booed and pelted off the stage with beer bottles, but Culkin saw the bright side of the potentially embarrassing situation.
Instead of losing his cool and storming off stage, Culkin instead shouted:
Why are you throwing those? ...I'd rather drink them!
