Ladies and Gentlemen! Marvel and Sony fans alike! Today is a great day for everyone! Latino Review's Dave Gonzalez (no, we are not related) recently revealed a TON of Marvel Studios info in his recent weekly column. Among the many awesome Marvel news, Dave reported something we've all been waiting for—Spider-Man is joining the MCU!!

Note: If you want a slightly different perspective on all the glorious news you are about to read, check out MP Creator and other Spidey fan Alisha Grauso's take on this info!

Yes it's true! Everyones friendly-neighborhood wall-crawler is joining the ranks of Iron Man, Captain America and the rest of the mighty Avengers! And just in time for their biggest bout ever! According to Dave, Spider-Man will be joining the MCU in Avengers: Infinity War Part 1!

You have no idea how excited I am! I feel like bouncing off the walls and defying gravity! Unfortunately, this news comes with a bit of bad news as well—well it could be good news, depending on how you feel about either Andrew Garfield or Tobey Maguire, and their take on the Spidey character.

It seems that the rumors of either of them joining are false and that Marvel is using a new actor. I suppose that's a small price to pay for the inclusion of Spider-Man in the MCU. And as if Dave Gonzalez didn't already fulfill our dreams by reporting this, he's gone ahead and reported some major info about a few of the films leading up to Infinity War. Ok, we're going into spoiler territory now. So please, if you don't want anything about any of the upcoming MCU films spoiled, stop reading now!

According to Dave, Captain America is going to die in Captain America: Civil War!

Cap villain Crossbones is reportedly going to be the one to take out Steve Rogers. For those who don't know, we've seen Crossbones before, in Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

It's also being reported that Bucky Barnes, also known as the Winter Soldier, is responsible for the death of Howard Stark, which is what causes (or further sparks) the tension between Tony Stark and Steve Rogers. Also, though it's not put into detail, Iron Man somehow ends up in space! Looks like Iron Man might just be showing up in Guardian's of the Galaxy 2!

Iron Man and the GotG!
Iron Man and the GotG!

And apparently in Thor: Ragnarok, a lot of Asgardian's will die and be resurrected. Thor himself won't die though, instead he'll be confined in a galctic prison. For what, I'm not sure. Thor must have done something pretty bad though to be confined to a galactic prison.

This takes three of the founding Avengers out of the way. Meaning they likely won't be showing up in Infinity War: Part 1 . This is kind of disappointing to me, as I really wanted Thor and Iron Man to participate, Cap too. But the Avengers will still be a big part of Infinity War, with an all new team! The roster isn't finalized yet but according to Dave Gonzalez, it looks like it will feature: Spider-Man, Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch, Vision, Black Panther, Dr. Strange, Ant-Man, Wasp, Captain Marvel, Luke Cage, Daredevil, Iron Fist, Jewel/Power Woman, any Guardian of the Galaxy, and any Inhuman.

If this is true, this means we'll be seeing the Wasp and The Defenders (from the upcoming Netflix series') join the Avengers among others! This is great news!!

And in case you were wondering, "What about the other classic Avengers?" Well don't worry, they'll be joining in during Avengers: Infinity War Part 2! Where they'll be in Part 1 is unknown but I'm sure it'll be revealed eventually. Oh, and in case you were feeling down about Cap's death, it's also being reported that, taking a huge gimmick from the comics, Marvel will be reviving him in time for Infinity War Part 2!

Marvel, if the day comes that you can get engaged to a massive multi-media powerhouse company, I'm heading to your front door with a ring! I am so excited about all this news! BUT! Take it with a grain of salt, this is all still a RUMOR! But Dave Gonzalez, of Latino Review has reported countless superhero/comic news before and he's been right countless times. So, while this all still a rumor, it's a very likely one!

What do you think of all this?
