This may come across somewhat dramatic, but Scooby Doo pretty much 100% changed my life.

Before I watched the classic Hanna-Barbera show about mystery-solving teens roaming America without parental supervision and with a dog clearly taking illegal drugs, sorry I forgot where I was going with this.

But it's been 45 years since we got a glimpse into what the original gang has been up to. Sure, we've gotten the occasional DVD release of the Mystery Machine kids continuing their adventures for some reason, but my head canon says those movies still take place in the 70s.

It just has to.
It just has to.

And no, we're not counting the big screen movies.

Just, no.

So what has the gang been doing since they put the Mystery Machine to rest? Buzzfeed writer Dan Meth has the inside story. Below are some of his re-imaginings, but you'll have to check out the full list to see them all.

#1 Daphne Blake

Where is she now?

Daphne now lives in Boca Raton, Florida, with her third husband, a retired orthopedic surgeon. The mystery she’s currently trying to solve is how to program the DVR.

And she's still rocking the scarf? Even in Florida? Bold.

It's good to see that Daphne has avoided her tradition of being "danger-prone," though it's sad to see she and Fred never made their thing official. She was always after the moneybags, it seems. And speaking of Fred...

#2 Fred Jones

Where is he now?

After the “mystery years” Fred went back to graduate school and became a financial advisor. He voted for Mitt Romney and his daughter had a drug problem for a while (but she’s fine now).

Aside from looking like Chevy Chase, I'd say Fred's doing all right for himself. Now instead of solving crimes about financial schemes, he advises other people on how to run a bank account.

So far, Fred's the only guy showing any growth here, and that's not just because he ditched the ascot.

#3 Velma Dinkley

Where is she now?

After all that ghost hunting, Velma became fascinated by the paranormal. She moved to Sedona, Arizona, where she makes jewelry from “healing crystals.” She shares a house with her friend Lynn.

Yeah, her "friend."

In a way, Velma seems the least-changed of the group so far. I mean, aside from the tint of her glasses (is she still losing those things all the time?).

As a kid who was way too fixated on Amityville Horror, I always envisioned a secret romance between Velma and Fred that would transform them into the real-life counterparts for Ed and Lorraine Warren.

#4 Norville "Shaggy" Rogers

Where is he now?

Shaggy lives in Northern California and remembers very little of his mystery-solving days. He lost most of his savings in a vitamin sales pyramid scheme a few years back. He still has a lot of fear issues.

As someone who lives in Northern California, I can attest that I've seen exactly ten people who look just like this guy.

I feel bad for this fictional take on this fictional character. I always thought he'd one day find a way to start his own pyramid scheme involving Scooby Snacks. You know, unless the FDA found out they're addicting enough to make you run into danger headfirst just for a morsel.

But what about Scooby and Scrappy? Sorry, gang. You'll have to check out the full list to find out! Spoiler warning: It's depressing.
