Hey guys, I'm a new writer for Moviepilot and i thought I would start off with a little "fan theory" that I came up with after about the 16th time of watching the new Age of Ultron Trailer.

The rather newly released trailer for Avengers 2. Let me just say that this trailer definitely showed us more than the first one.

Anyways, back on topic. This theory regards the unexplained reason that Bruce Banner seemingly is not in control of his rage/power anymore. Some say this is due to Scarlet Witch controlling him, but I say that it is something else!

My theory starts like this. Hydra is seen studying the staff after Captain America: The Winter Soldier. In that same scene and in the same building, Scarlet Witch and QuickSilver are being held. In the first trailer for Age of Ultron, Ultron is seen at what appears to be that same building in ruins, after supposedly breaking them out. I think that is where Ultron aquired Loki's staff, which has an infinity stone in it, that is able to control people as shown in The Avengers. I think Fury knows of this possibly major element in the fight, so he tells Black Widow to retrieve it.

Ultron says in this scene that he will "Tear you apart, from the inside" I think Ultron is speaking metaphorically meaning that he is going to turn the Hulk or many avengers against Tony. That would give Ultron a motive to use the staff's power to control Banner.

What Ultron is basically trying to do is level out the playing field, so to speak. From before this second trailer came out, we all new that there was no way Ultron could take on all of the Avengers by himself, even with his robot friends. the Hulk and Thor are the two biggest players they have, and Ultron is looking for any way to get rid of them, or turn them against the rest. I hope you liked my little theory, leave a like and comment if you have any questions. Thanks! -Ethan Renstrom
