After Valentine's weekend, romance is still in the air. There's no doubt that Disney animated classics always have some of the best love stories. Whether it's the classic animated movies, or the newer digitally-animated movies, you can't beat the Disney romance. Yes, Disney may set unrealistic standards for romance in real life, but a girl can dream, right?
As Disney is releasing new trailers for the new live-action Cinderella movie, the anticipation grows and my excitement skyrockets! It's magical, whimsical, and each shot takes my breath away. I'm in awe with all of the bright colors, beautiful costumes, and have you seen her shoes?!
STOP! If you haven't seen the trailer to the movie, you should watch it before you continue reading! Don't worry, I've got your back. Click the video below and prepare to be dazzled!
To start off, this movie will not be the same as the original. This is an adaptation to the 1950 Walt Disney's animated classic, Cinderella. Like Disney's live-action box office hit Maleficent, Cinderella is sure to have a few twists in the adaptation.
Why you should get pumped!
As I said earlier, this movie will be an adaptation of the beloved classic. What makes adaptations so exciting is that audiences already know the original story, but they don't know what to expect in the new one. People that haven't seen the original can watch the new adaptation and fall in love with the original as well. It's a win-win situation!
All hail Helena!
Helena Bonham Carter is known for playing a huge diversity of different roles and I can't wait to see her as the Fairy Godmother. In the trailer and clips she's absolutely fantastic. I mean, have you seen her costume? Talk about magical!
What I want to know!
I want to know, will there be talking animals? There's a possibility that they won't talk considering it's a live-action movie. However, we do get a glimpse of Lucifer the cat, my favorite over-privileged snooty feline villain. Check out the exclusive clip here!
Another thought, you know the castle in the logo for Disney movies? That's Prince Charming and Cinderella's castle. How cool would it be if they incorporated that castle into the movie? Just a fun little thought.
