Gotta stress right off the bat here that these are NOT-FINISHED images of merchandise that will be out closer to the time that [Jurassic World](movie:32752) is released. Therefore, nobody can fully confirm that this is exactly what the genetically modified D-Rex will look like.

Okay, now that I've gotten all of that out of the way, check out these early and unfinished images of Indominus Rex, aka the D-Rex!

Without further ado, the D-Rex in packaging shots

This could very well be close to what it looks like on screen. Those spikes on its neck are pretty sick, the white skin is legit, and it just looks like a slightly more evil T-Rex! And this isn't even ruining the movie for me, simply due to the fact that movie-magic will probably take it up another notch. Sound, CGI, etc will all add to the allure of the D-Rex undoubtedly.

There is also imagery of a basic T-Rex (yeah, T-Rex is just basic) and velociraptors. However, we know what you came for... the D-Rex! And we already know how Chris Pratt feels about genetically modifying a dinosaur...

Playing with fire seems to be a fairly consistent theme in the entire Jurassic Park franchise. It's basically humans feeling like they can do whatever the hell they want with creatures that are 40 times their size and able to kill you in a split second. I mean, the premise is already pretty crazy, but I think if this happened in real life, I would hope the people in control would be WAY less risky with these dinosaurs.

What do you think?

Could Dinosaurs and Humans ever co-exist peacefully?
