It is Oscar Season everyone! You know what that means? People are about to get really pissed off about not being nominated! And then there is also people who are going to be very excited about being nominated! And there are also fans you are going to either be very angry, or very happy with the selections that were made by the Academy. I, for one, am not very happy with the Academy as I feel many actors, directors and films were cheated this year. This is a list of Snubs who I believe were worthy contenders for the Oscars this year.

Best Actor: Miles Teller, Whiplash

This is my personal biggest snub of the season. The guy is flat out amazing in this movie. He deserved a nomination. THAT IS HIM REALLY PLAYING THE DRUMS PEOPLE! How freaking awesome is that?! He also can act his ass off against the great J.K. Simmons. Super disappointing how Teller has been ignored all award season.

Best Actor: Channing Tatum, Foxcatcher

Foxcatcher is well represented this award season. What people are forgetting though is that Channing Tatum was probably the greatest thing in this movie. Carrel's performance as John Du Pont is good. But, for me, Tatum owned this film. He showed the world he can more than just a pretty face in Hollywood. Best Actor was a really good category this year for the Academy. There were a ton of great performances. I wish Tatum's would of made their list because he is phenomenal in this role.

Best Actor: Jake Gyllenhaal, Nightcrawler

Talk about a big name in Hollywood getting a huge snub. I think most people thought Gyllenhaal would get a nomination. Well, they were wrong. And the Academy was dead wrong. Are you kidding me?! This is one of the greatest performances of the year. And my second favorite performance of Gyllenhaal's career (behind his role in "Prisoners" which also went unnoticed last year). This movie was snubbed all around in my opinion. But the biggest snub of all is Gyllenhaal. Shame on you Academy.

Best Actor: David Oyelowo, Selma

This one really surprises me as well. Oyelowo's take on Martin Luther King Jr. is simply astonishing. This film is so powerful and well done, but his performance makes the movie. Very disappointing Mr. Oyelowo did not get the credit and recognition he deserves.

Best Actress: Jennifer Aniston, Cake

This movie is emotional and very different from anything Aniston has ever done. Is the film good? Not really. But Aniston gives the performance of her career. I wanted to see her nominated and I thought she had a really good shot. Maybe next time Jennifer.

Best Supporting Actor: Andy Serkis, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes

This is one that I personally feel is unrealistic and would only happen in my dreams. But man do I really wish that this guy would get the credit he deserves. Caesar is why these reboot Ape movies are any good at all. And Andy Serkis brings him to life. Dawn of the Planet of the Apes was one of the my favorite films of 2014. And Andy Serkis made the film. Long live Caesar!

Best Actress: Emily Blunt, Into the Woods

I personally am not a fan of musicals. But "Into the Woods" kept me very entertained. Blunt stole the show. Simple as that. See this film and tell me I am wrong. Where is her golden statue? This is unacceptable.

Best Animated Feature: The Lego Movie

Where do I begin with this one? Everything is not awesome in Lego-Land guys. This is not simply the best animated feature of the year, it is one of the greatest films of the year hands down! To not even be nominated is literally a disgrace. Super disappointing.

These are my personal biggest snubs of the year. There are many more though! Let me know what you think some of the biggest snubs are in the comments below!
