The last few months have been a whirlpool of information. Off the cuff, there is the new Fantastic 4 Reboot, Avengers Age of Ultron, Avengers Infinity War, Superhero this, Superhero that.

Marvel has a very nice and comfortable position in the movie making business with D.C. close behind, however lets face it, anyone of us would like to go see Avengers kick some alien or robot ass over Ben Afleck acting moody and depressed as Batman any day of the week. That normal, but hey, that's not why we're here today. D.C., an up comer if you will, has now made a nice little spot for itself in TV land, with new episodes of Flash and Arrow, and Gotham, they are doing quite nicely for themselves however, where are they going? Where is any superhero movie franchise going? We, as fans can only guess what new and exciting things the writers of our favorite shows and movies will be showing us in the near future. But, from this plethora of knowledge we have obtained within the last few months I would like us all to sit down, discuss the facts and think, clearly about where we are going.

I'll start off with some Marvel content. Earlier this week we found out that RDJ won't always be Tony Stark, which totally surprised me... I thought he was Tony Stark! The kid from Iron Man 3, Ty Simpkins, is supposedly going to be taking to reins sometime in the future, after RDJ has done about 20 more movies as the Millionaire, Play-boy, Philanthropist, and that will give us enough time to say our fair wells to Downey Jr. But what does this mean for the future of the franchise? Well If this information is true, then Disney plans to carry on this Iron Man franchise until... well, forever. Now I'm not saying that the young and talented Simpkins will be Iron Lad, but if he is, then he will certainly be in that role longer than RDJ was/is.

Another rumor we've all probably heard is that Marvel, a.k.a Disney, and Sony are in the works to do a Spider-Man crossover. Now whether Andrew Garfield is involved with this or not makes no difference, what does is that Marvel clearly wants Spidey back, and they want him bad... bad enough that they are negotiating with Sony, another rival company. If Spidey's transfer is in fact true, and if it is will it be permanent or maybe a 3 movie deal and then Sony's grimy little paws take him back into it's clutches again, is unknown at this point, but think about it Spider-Man, my personal most favorite Superhero in the whole wide world back with Marvel! Well... I may be having fangasms right now.

The new TV series, Marvel's Agent Carter is fantastic! great show, great cast, and perfect story development. This shows that Disney wants and is, creating it's own world of back stories and character development instead of just show casing a couple movies every year or so to make the big bucks, Disney really cares about us as fans, they want us to be immersed in a world of pure imagination, they want to create the ultimate fantasies of wonderment and joy! These off the cuff TV shows are great for really getting inside the mind of Disney, it shows us what they have in store for the future.

Marvel's infiltration of Netflix has also been a pretty big talking point in today's world. Dare Devil, Luke Cage, Iron Fist! All great superheroes that deserve great shows, Netflix is known for it great show pickings, so I believe we can expect a lot from these. Also with Agent Carter and Agent's of S.H.I.E.L.D it shows growth, Marvel is bringing in more heroes, showing more back story and character development, meaning that we can expect a lot from the future.

The gist of what I'm saying here is this... Looking at what we have been given is great, if we really try to break it down into something that makes sense we can see that Marvel has planned so far ahead to provide it's fans with an entire world, The MCU, to fall in love with. It's plan has transformed from a money making scheme to a plan that goes beyond the comic books, a plan that makes the characters become almost... real life! It's plan may not be clear yet, only because that is what they are hiding from us. I believe Marvel has something pretty special planned, other than the things we already know is happening.

Tell me your theories down below in the comments, I'd love to hear them and respond!
