Word around the interstellar campfire is that with the release of Avengers: Age Of Ultron, comes another little gift in the shape of a longer Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens trailer! Thank the goddess!
The trailer, which will hopefully be dropping even more jaws on May 1st, is rumored to have the first footage of the older Luke Skywalker, Han Solo and Leia getting up to whatever they'll be getting up to in the galaxy far, far away.
This is great news if it does indeed turn out to be true! I really, REALLY, enjoyed last year's tease and am not disappointed that much more was given. It was a great exercise in stoking the fan fire of over-joyous excitement! But it would be nice to have a few more quintessential Star Wars-ian nuggets to really get our teeth stuck into.
What I'd Like To See
A Bonafide Villain!
Or word on the incoming crisis! It's thirty years after the Rebel Alliance defeated the Empire. All should be well in the galaxy. But now that the Force has decided to wake up, who is going to be utilizing the dark side? Who's the big bad? TELL US!
There has to be some epic spacey-spacey-pew-pew-fly action in there somewhere. TELL US!
We all need a little Serkis inserted into our lives. The man is a regular phenom and he's being introduced into the SWU! Fantastic news, but who the heck is he playing? TELL US!
Disney is really spoiling us now. A new Star Wars trailer before the most defining battle in MCU history. I don't think I'll be able to take all of the excitement.
