Kingdom Hearts 3 remains an illusive title in the release date department for KH fans all over the world. We were under the impression that Goofy's voice actor had revealed some details for us, but Square Enix merely retorted saying that Kingdom Hearts 3's release date has not been announced yet. Now, they didn't exactly say it wouldn't be coming out in 2015, even though 2016 does seem more likely.

But one thing that we may actually be seeing in 2015 is the rerelease of the much loved 3DS title Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance. Really sounds like they just randomly selected words beginning with 'D' for that title but no matter. So, would you be excited to see it on the PS3?

Kingdom Hearts 3 & Dream Drop Distance

Dream Drop Distance was a really well received adventure on the 3DS, earning the Editor's Chocie Award from IGN and some other worthy mentions from other game publications. But would it be necessary for the game to receive a port onto the PS3 after it was released only 3 years ago? Well, if Square Enix are looking to make a bit more money, maybe they will. Or perhaps we'll see it go on sale prior to the release of Kingdom Hearts 3. But the question remains, do you want it on the PS3?

I'm interested to see if the fan base would be keen to have something like that, because if Square Enix realises that the market is there we will assuredly see it out later this year. Are people definitely gearing up to play KH3 with the other remix titles?

I'm in the middle of replaying Kingdom Hearts 1 at the moment to start remembering everything that happened and play the other titles throughout the year. I've just met Ariel again, such memories! But will anyone actually bother watching 343 and re:coded? I was considering it, but it may ultimately be a waste of time...

Kingdom Hearts 3 is a highly debatable issue concerning a 2015 release date. I honestly don't think the developers will be ready having moved to a new engine last year, and a change of focus with its director and it only recently received a full body of staff members working on it since Kingdom Hearts 2.5 Remix was finished.

But who knows? Well, maybe Goofy does! Let us know in the comments what you'd think about getting a remastered Dream Drop Distance on your home console! And if you're in the middle of replaying a KH game, let us know where you are! Happy gaming.
