When the trailer for this movie came out, I had not seen any of the previous X-Men films, but I really wanted to see this one. So, I knew I had to catch up; and when I did, I was semi excited. I say semi because I must say with a heavy heart, a certain number of the X-Men films were not that great; but I'm not talking about those right now. I went to the movie theater the opening night all anticipated, and came out with the biggest nerdy grin on my face.

However, there are very few issues in every movie, even this one. There are very few movies that have one or no issues, but when watching this film I could only find one. So let's see it.

1. Quicksilver's Appearance

Peter Maximoff A.K.A. Quicksilver made a grand appearance in the film serving as a sidekick or partner of sorts. Logan, Charles and Hank have his assisting hand in order to break Erik Lehnsherr A.K.A. Magneto out of a pentagon prison. Evan Peters (Kick Ass, American Horror Story) portrays the character in the film.

I don't have a problem with the casting; my problem is this character was not put to good enough use. In other words he did not get enough screen time nor enough time with the X-Men. I feel like Bryan Singer was trying not to slow down the objective plot.

Overall, this movie was a fantastic addition to the X-Men movie franchise.
